12 Karl Lennon

Locally born Karl Lennon first appeared for the Mos in the 2003/04 season after stepping up from the Invicta Mustangs and went on to spend eight consecutive years in a Dynamos jersey including two during which he donned the ‘C’ of captain. After 297 games, 42 goals, 94 assists and so 136 points, the battling forward hung up his skates at the end of 2010/11 with the club retiring his jersey in his honour.

During his time on the ice Lennon’s name became synonymous with an exceptional work ethic and an unrivalled passion for the team and it was this love for the club that saw him make an unexpected return in 2021/22 when the Mos were short on numbers. Now 38, Lennon made a comeback that saw him ice another 23 times, scoring once and claiming four assists for five points. Now he will move from the ice to the bench as he takes over the coaching reigns looking to stamp his mark on the team in 2022/23
