The Invicta Dynamos are thrilled to announce the homecoming of talented 19-year-old forward, Louie White! Born and bred in Medway, Louie’s passion for hockey was ignited from a young age, and he went on to hone his skills with Streatham at U15 and U18 levels.
Seeking new challenges, Louie embarked on an adventure across the Atlantic, joining the prestigious Ontario Hockey Academy for a three-year stint giving him the opportunity to refine his game.
Most recently, Louie has enjoyed a successful season with the Florida Junior Blades in the USPHL Elite league. However, with their campaign coming to a close, Louie has set his sights on a new challenge – and what better way to see out the season than with his hometown team, the Invicta Dynamos?
Speaking on his return to the UK and joining the Mos Louie said, “Joining the Invicta Dynamos Club feels like coming full circle for me. This is where I first laced up a pair of skates at the age of four. After four years playing abroad, I’m thrilled to be back in the UK and representing a club I grew up watching. I’m eager to hit the ice, contribute to the team, and help push the club into the playoffs to finish the season strong. I’d like to thank the organisation and Karl for giving me this opportunity”.
Head Coach Karl Lennon adds, “Louie has skated with us for the past few summers when he’s back home here in the UK and it’s clear that he is developing into a tidy hockey player. He reached out to me as his season in the US is closing and wanted to be part of what we are doing here. He’s a good lad and I have no doubt that he will add some fire power to our offence. So welcome back home to Invicta and can’t wait to have him on the ice with us”.
We are delighted to have Louie on board for the remainder of the 24/25 season. With his registration confirmed today, transfer deadline day, he will take to the ice for the first time as a Mo at our home game v Oxford City Stars on Sunday 16th February.
Welcome to the Mos, Louie!
