The Invicta Dynamos are delighted to welcome 16 year old Harrison Prentice to the roster for the start of the 23/24 season.

The young forward will spend the early part of the season with the Mos, training and dressing for the team in some of the opening fixtures before his scheduled departure for a hockey program in Sweden.

Local lad Prentice began his ice hockey journey as an Under 9 but has spent his last 2 seasons in Chelmsford. Notably, last season he excelled in both their U16 and U18 teams. In the U16 Tomahawks team in just 15 games he scored 31 goals and 31 assists for 62 points and playing up an age group with the U18 Mohawks in 11 games he scored 13 goals and 17 assists for an impressive 30 points. These performances gained a lot of attention and Harrison was rewarded with a spot in GBs U16 roster that played in Riga.

Delighted with the opportunity Harrison said “I’m really looking forward to being back at Invicta. I’ve had two seasons away from the club and it will be great being back at my home rink where I began my ice hockey journey as an U9s. Whilst I have plans to play in Sweden later in the season, I will be working hard to improve my game with the Dynamos. I’m excited to start my senior hockey experience and can’t wait to play in front of the Dynamos fans”.

On bringing the young forward into the roster, Head Coach Karl Lennon said “Harrison has been training with us this summer and you can see that he’s a very talented young hockey player. We know that he plans to spend this season in Sweden, but whilst he awaits his departure we are happy to have him with us. He’ll train and hopefully get some game time in preparation for his season ahead. I believe very strongly in supporting all young players’ development plans and he is no different. Welcome to the family Harrison.”
