We are saddened to announce that Harrison Lillis sustained a serious injury last night during our game v Chelmsford Chieftains.
The injury occurred in the first few seconds of his fight in the 33rd minute of the game. Harry sadly suffered a significant dislocation to his shoulder that required hospital attention and a sedation in order for it be put back into place.
The entire club send our best wishes and support to Harry as he begins his recovery and unfortunately expect him to be out of action for a number of weeks. Get well soon Harry, we are thinking of you.
We would also like to take this opportunity to offer our immense gratitude and thanks to our fantastic Team Medic, Joe Rodgers, who supported Harry throughout the evening. He accompanied him to the hospital, elevated his arm for 4 hours to help ease some of the pain and remained with him until Harry was discharged from hospital at 4.30am. We are extremely lucky to have Joe at our club and he always goes above and beyond to look after our team – thank you so much.
