The Invicta Dynamos are thrilled to confirm that netminder Nikolai Divall will return for the upcoming 2025/26 season, completing our goaltending line-up alongside Brad Windebank.
Divall made his senior debut with the Mos last season, earning praise for his calm progression and consistently positive attitude. Throughout the campaign, he gained valuable experience and proved a reliable presence between the pipes when called upon – most notably delivering a standout performance in our crucial Playoff qtr-final win over Solent at the end of the season!
Eager to get going again Divall said “I was very happy that my senior hockey career started with the Dynamos last season. I could not ask for a more supportive and skilful team. I was supposed to only train with the team, but the circumstances turned out in such way that I ended up playing several games. The most memorable games were the two quarter finals. I would not have done it without such a great support from the team, coaches, and brilliant fans. I gained a lot of confidence and cannot wait for the new session to start”.
Head Coach Karl Lennon said “I’m delighted to have Nikolai back with us next season. He’s a great lad with bags of potential and he showed us all that whenever he took to the ice. He started more games than he probably expected and faced all levels of teams across the course of the year. His progression was fantastic, and it culminated in a spectacular performance in the Playoff QF where he showed composure and maturity beyond his years to get us past Solent. It’s amazing what a young player can be capable of when given the chance and all credit to our Junior club for bringing him through to this stage. So happy to keep working with him. 🐴🏒💪”.
Divall will once again wear the number 64 jersey.
