Mark Lee joins the Dynamos having iced in the EPL for the last seven seasons including five campaigns with the Guildford Flames between 2009 and 2014. During that time the shot stopper has won two EPL championships, three EPL Cups and a playoff title as well as individual accolades including the best goals against ratio in 2009/10 and selection to the EPL Second All-Star Team in 2011/12. To add to his already impressive CV Lee can also boast two seasons in the Elite League with the Newcastle Vipers and he featured for the now defunct side during the 2005/06 campaign in which they took playoff glory. It’s an impressive résumé for the north east born netminder who began life with his local junior team in Sunderland before later progressing to nearby Newcastle. However his latest venture takes him to Kent where he will share netminding duties with Chris Douglas and Steve Nightingale.

“I SPOKE TO MARK BEFORE THE SEASON ABOUT THE PROSPECT OF REGISTERING WITH THE DYNAMOS TO COVER IN THE EVENT OF INJURY TO CHRIS DOUGLAS AND I’M PLEASED TO SAY HE AGREED. CHRIS IS UNDOUBTEDLY A MASSIVE PLAYER FOR US AND HIS LOSS IN THE PAST HAS BEEN DIFFICULT FOR THE TEAM TO COPE WITH SO HAVING A PLAYER OF MARK’S CALIBRE ABLE TO COME IN IS FANTASTIC. MARK IS A TOP QUALITY EPL STANDARD GOALIE AND HE HAS BEEN BETWEEN THE POSTS FOR SIDES THAT HAVE WON LEAGUES, CUPS AND PLAYOFFS. HE WON’T BE DAUNTED BY ANYTHING THIS COMPETITION CAN THROW AT HIM AND TO HAVE HIM SHARING NETMINDING DUTIES FOR THE DYNAMOS IS DEFINITELY A MAJOR POSITIVE FOR THE SIDE”.
