The Invicta Dynamos are looking to GO BIG for our charity partners Medway Foodbank at this Sunday’s home game with the Oxford City Stars by holding a BIG CHRISTMAS COLLECTION to support people in crisis during the festive season.
Supporters, players and staff at the Invicta Dynamos have already donated a fantastic 1,627 items for Medway Foodbank since the start of our charity partnership in September and now we’re looking to add to that this weekend as we collect for the Christmas period. To process and distribute food items in time for Christmas, the foodbank require stock at the start of December and so we’re looking to supplement their supplies with a big collection to start the month. In addition to our collection, the Invicta Dynamos have invited the fantastic volunteers from the foodbank to join us in Gillingham to enjoy the game. In a further boost to the charity, our sponsors OSP Group Ltd will also be at the fixture to make a very generous donation to the organisation that will go a long way to helping those who need it most in the festive season.
So join us on Sunday 1st December at Planet Ice, Gillingham as we host the Oxford City Stars looking to secure two league points whilst helping our charity partners as they head into one of their toughest periods. Every food item you donate will go straight to people in crisis across Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham. Entrance to the game begins at 4.30pm with faceoff at 5.15pm.
