Today we celebrate Invicta Junior player, Reuben Yeates, turning 16 and marking the occasion by making the exciting step up to senior hockey!
Reuben joins the Mos on a 2-way with the Juniors, making his senior debut tomorrow, followed by his home debut on Sunday against the Solent Devils.
We are delighted to support his progression and can’t wait to see him take to the ice in Dynamos colours.
Impressed by the young D-Man, Head Coach Karl Lennon said “Reuben has been skating with us since the summer after his return back to Invicta. Despite his young age he has good physical presence and a mature hockey head on his shoulders. He’s fitted in well to the group already and is always looking at details for improvement with the senior guys on the team. Glad for him that this moment has come, he’s been waiting patiently in the wings. I expect him to keep progressing at the pace we have seen during practice and that game experience will be invaluable for his development. Welcome to the team Reuben 💪”.
Reuben is keen to get going and adds “Really excited to get on my way in Senior Hockey. I’ve been skating with the team all season so far and have felt part of it from the beginning. I’ve picked up so much already and am really looking forward to my first games this weekend”.
Happy 16th Birthday Reuben and welcome to the club! Let’s give him a huge Mos welcome as he begins this next chapter in his hockey journey.
