Bristol game off due to ice conditions

off2We regret that Sunday’s home game against the Bristol Pitbulls had to be postponed due to the ice at the rink being judged unsafe for the players to play.

Significant efforts were made by staff to rectify the situation however ultimately the conditions were not suitable and, for the safety of all involved, the game was called off a short period of time after it was set to begin.

We apologise to and understand the frustration of all those who travelled to the rink for the fixture. Staff exhausted all available options in trying to make the ice playable however unfortunately this was unsuccessful and a decision eventually had to be made to cancel the tie.

We will issue further updates when possible.

Owner’s Statement

Both Kevin and I, Leone and the team would like to apologise to our supporters and The Bristol Pitbulls team and their supporters for the cancelled game tonight.

For reasons outside of our control, and due to player safety, the game could not go ahead. We are so sorry to everyone for the long and cold wait outside. We were working with the rink to ensure all was done to enable the game to take place but unfortunately it was not safe for it to do so.

For anyone with pre-booked tickets please email to either transfer your tickets to another game or claim a full refund. If you have any issues with this then email and we will do all we can to assist.

Once again we are really very sorry that tonight did not go ahead and will work with the Bristol Pitbulls to reschedule.

Thank you.
Sarah Parrish.
