This Sunday as the Dynamos host Streatham in the NIHL Southern Cup semi-final the club will be holding a bucket collection in aid of Demelza as three club representatives look set to go the extra mile, or 26, for the Children’s Hospice.
Twitter helper and road match reporter Lee Allen, club steward Brendon Davey and media man Steve Wolfe from KentSportsNews are all set to hit the road as they run half marathons and marathons in aid of Demelza Hospice. On Sunday they’ll be looking for your help and inviting you to give whatever you can for this tremendous cause by supporting the club’s bucket collection before and during the tie against the Streatham Redskins.
Their running efforts then begin on Sunday 13th March as the trio take part in Dartford’s gruelling half marathon. On Sunday 17th April Brendon Davey will then tackle the Brighton marathon before, on Sunday 24th April, Steve Wolfe takes to London’s streets for the 26-mile-long challenge in the capital. The result is over 66 brutal miles run by our three volunteers but it’s miles clocked up so that Demelza Hospice can continue to make life better for babies, children and young people who have life threatening or life limiting conditions.
So whether you’re a home supporter or visiting with the Redskins we invite you to give whatever you can. All donations received will go towards making a major impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
