The Milton Keynes Thunder stand between the Invicta Dynamos and the NIHL Southern Playoffs Final and the sides will meet this weekend as the Mos travel to Buckinghamshire on Saturday before playing at home in the second leg on Sunday.
Milton Keynes are perhaps surprise semi-finalists after overcoming the Streatham Redskins in the last round despite the London outfit finishing three positions above them in the NIHL South Division 1 but their route to the last four was far from a fluke. The Thunder recorded an impressive 2-2 draw at Streatham Ice Arena on Saturday before romping to a convincing 7-2 victory back on home ice to take the tie 9-4 on aggregate on Sunday. As a result they now face the Dynamos who themselves progressed following a somewhat tighter 11-10 win against the Solent Devils across two meetings.
The semi-final will once again be played over two legs with the Mos travelling to Milton Keynes on Saturday before returning to Gillingham for the decider on Sunday. Tickets for the away leg are priced at just £3.00 for adults with children entering the venue for free.
