19 year old former Invicta Dynamos junior Jack Lee has today completed a return to the club and should make his debut as early as this weekend as his new team travel to Streatham to face the Redskins on Saturday before hosting Bracknell on Sunday.
Forward Jack Lee rose through the ranks in Gillingham before eventually representing the Invicta Mustangs in the NIHL South’s second tier come 2012/13. 22 appearances saw him tally 4 goals and an assist for 5 points whilst he also amassed 83 penalty minutes. The following campaign he would return for Division 2 outfit whilst splitting his time with the Guildford Phoenix under 18s and later switching to the Haringey Racers of Alexandra Palace. At the start of 2014/15 the London Raiders then secured his services to give him a top tier berth but now, after 14 league outings for the formerly Romford based side, Lee is completing a homecoming by switching back to Gillingham and the Dynamos for the remainder of the campaign.
Speaking on the signing of Jack Lee, Head Coach Kevin Parrish said, “Jack is a player who spent much of his early career with the club and has matured considerably since his earlier outings at the Silver Blades. He will work hard, bring an edge to the team and he’s looking forward to wearing the crest on his jersey come the weekend. As we enter the second half of the campaign it’s important we maintain the depth in the team and Jack is settling in quickly and looking forward to make an impression with the Dynamos. I’m sure he will play his part as we begin the charge for home and hopefully his displays will help brings success to the Mos in a few months time”.
Jack Lee, who will turn 20 towards the end of January, should line up for the Dynamos in Streatham on Saturday with faceoff in South London at 5.30pm. Tickets for the clash can be purchased in advance online by visiting the club’s website here: http://streatham-hockey.co.uk/ftickets/
