The Invicta Dynamos can confirm that the club will be without the services of Ryan Giles, Adam Copland and Phil Manny next season with the trio all moving on in time for the next campaign. Defensive pair Giles and Copland have chosen to test themselves elsewhere whilst forward Phil Manny has opted to return home and will once again ice for Cardiff.

Speaking of his time with the Dynamos Ryan Giles said, “I’ve absolutely loved my time at Invicta. I’ve been lucky enough to have had a fantastic chance to play with some very good players, in a good league and for my home team”. He then added, “Over the last three years I have developed and learnt huge amounts in my time here from Kev and some of the more experienced guys, like Elsy. Now I want to try and play at the highest level I can and hopefully this move will make me develop further”. Finally Giles passed on his gratitude to all those at the club saying, “I’d like to thank everyone at Invicta including, Kev and all the boys, Jackie Mason and all the fans”.

Ryan Giles spent three seasons icing for the Dynamos playing over one hundred games in the process. He has come on leaps and bounds during his time here and his departure, along with Adam Copland, has meant a difficult start to the summer for the club. However everyone at the Dynamos would like to thank Giles, Copland and Phil Manny for their efforts over the past season, and beyond, and wish them all the very best in the future.

Ahead of the new season the club are now in discussions with several players and can confirm the signing of a Canadian forward with further details to be released in the coming weeks. The latest player to join the Dynamos is moving over to the UK to further his studies and will hopefully play a key role in our attack for 2009/10. Meanwhile we are also talking to several British D-men as we look to fill the gap left at the back and it may be time to rethink having one import forward and one import defenceman. Time will tell.
