Anthony Leone fired home his first goal for the club since his return mid-season to send the Dynamos on their way to a 4-2 win over the Bracknell Hornets on Sunday evening. Having been humbled by the Hornets on the road twice this season the Dynamos went looking for revenge knowing that a victory would end any remaining title hopes for the visiting side. The Invicta Dynamos fell to their fourth defeat of the season on Saturday in bad tempered game in Cardiff. Having fallen to the ENL Devils on their road trip across the Severn earlier in the campaign they travelled to Wales again set to face an uphill battle as they took to the ice without defenceman Ryan Giles and forward Nolan Boike, with both players suffering long term injuries. The Invicta Dynamos can announce that prolific forward Nolan Boike’s season now looks to be over after his leg injury proved to be more serious than first suspected. The non-EIHA trained skater has been forced to sit out the last three games following the tie in Oxford in mid-February and now looks likely to return home and miss out on the remainder of the campaign. Defenceman Ryan Giles injured in car accident
The Invicta Dynamos regret to report that on Wednesday (24th February) defenceman Ryan Giles was involved in a serious car accident that has left him requiring surgery. The committed defenceman’s condition is said to be OK but the collision has resulted in long term injuries and the need for a late evening operation to assess the situation. During the incident Ryan Giles sustained a broken femur whilst also causing damage to his knee. He has since undergone four hour long surgery in hospital to determine the seriousness of the problem and calculate the best possible way forward. Ryan Giles has been ...
