With the off-season still very much in its infancy, Invicta Dynamos Head Coach Kevin Parrish has wasted little time in beginning his preparations for the 2012/13 campaign by tying 23 year old defenceman Tim Smith to his sixth year at the club. Sheffield born Tim Smith initially joined the Dynamos from the Peterborough Islanders as a promising 18 year old at the beginning of the 2007/08 campaign and has since gone on to make 165 appearances in Invicta colours. The Invicta Dynamos marked the end of the 2011/12 campaign with the end of season presentation evening held at the bar at the Silver Blades Ice Rink Gillingham on Friday evening. With the 2011/12 campaign now at a close, the Invicta Dynamos will be holding the club’s end of season presentation evening in the bar at the Silver Blades Ice Rink, Gillingham from 7.30pm on Friday 20th April. 2011/12 proved to be a rollercoaster year for the Dynamos and the team finished the term with a fourth placed finish in the ENIHL South Division 1 and a semi-final place in the playoffs. Invicta Dynamos club captain and all time highest points’ scorer Andy Smith claimed his 400th goal for the team on Sunday evening as the squad took on the Romford Raiders in the second leg of the ENIHL South Playoff Semi-final at Rom Valley Way.
