Despite his still relatively young age, Conor Redmond arrives in Kent with a wealth of experience including appearances in the Scottish National League (SNL), EPL, both the NIHL South Division 1 and 2 and on the international stage with Ireland.

Redmond’s senior debut came with the Swindon Wildcats in the NIHL South’s second tier as a 17 year old in 2012 before he then moved east to Slough and Bracknell in 2013/14 – featuring in the EPL and at both levels of the NIHL. After a further year with the Slough Jets in Division 2, he was then brought to Gillingham for the 2015/16 campaign where he iced in 49 games, scored 14 goals and claimed 24 assists for 38 points. In addition to his prowess in front of net, Redmond won over not just the supporters, but also his fellow teammates with his high work rate earning him the Players’ Player of the Year award at the end of season presentation evening in 2016.

The forward then initially signed on for another year in Kent the following term but switched to Streatham and, later, Bracknell in search of more ice time in a bid to continue his development. For the last two seasons he has plied his trade with the Oxford City Stars in the NIHL South Division 2 where he has been a key figure in their attack – featuring in 53 games, scoring 25 goals, 50 assists and so amassing 75 points. Now though he’s back in the NIHL South’s top tier and back with the new look Dynamos for 2019/20.

“I’m pleased to have Conor back in the line-up and think he’s a very good addition to our team. He has played here before, knows the club well and has good experience at this level of the game. He has developed consistently over the last three or four years and is keen to keep pushing forward. Conor played with Tom Davis in Oxford last season where the pair formed a strong partnership on the ice and I’m hoping to see them settle quickly now they’re both at Invicta.”
