Kieron Jones is a product of the youth setup in Kent and worked his way through the junior ranks to earn a senior debut with the Invicta Mustangs in the NIHL South’s second tier last season. Jones split his time between the Invicta Colts under 18s and the Mustangs in 2018/19 and the promising forward was on target for both.
In 17 outings at junior level Jones found the net 8 times and played a role in 7 more for a total of 15 points. Despite his youth he also made an impression in the NIHL South Division 2 with a goal and 2 assists in 19 fixtures with the Invicta Mustangs. Now the young forward is looking to maintain his development in 2019/20 by continuing with the under 18s whilst also securing a debut in the NIHL South’s top tier with the Dynamos.
“Kieron is an Invicta Junior who has really impressed me over the summer. He has all the tools to develop into a great senior player. Like Owen Rider, he will be on a two-way contract with the juniors and will play for the under 18As first and then us when needed. I see a bright future for Kieron and hope to see him wearing a Dynamos jersey for many years to come. Hopefully this is just the start of his journey with the senior side.”
